Emotional Health and Wellbeing Awareness

With a wealth of experience of working with vulnerable young people and children, we have created a comprehensive one day awareness course on Emotional Health and Well-being for those working or volunteering with children or young people.

Emotional Health & Wellbeing

Learning outcomes:

  • Recognising the different behaviours and risk factors that young people may exhibit
  • Identifying the strategies used to respond to young people displaying signs of emotional difficulties
  • Learning how to risk assess situations involving young people displaying emotional issues.
  • Identifying the impact of the work on professionals and ways to safeguard against personal harm.

This is an excellent course to update your own awareness of the issues young people face and the emotional impact this can have on them. It is also a superb introduction to the issues if this area of work is new to you. This awareness course serves as an excellent precursor to our much more expansive and comprehensive Emotional First Aid training too.
