We aren’t the kind of charity to let a little global pandemic stop us from involving young people in supported volunteering!
We decided to use our charity allotment as a way of keeping young people engaged in conservation based volunteering from the safety of their own homes.
We created a bunch of Plant Packs- an All-In-One grow a plant at home from seed Kit and distributed them to vulnerable young people across the Eastleigh Borough. Once grown, the plants were collected, and we film the planting of some of them, each plant alongside it’s stake, identifying who grew it. The harvest grown was donated back to the community, and used within our charitable activities supporting disadvantaged young people in Hampshire.
